About this role

Anduril Industries seeks a Robotics Software Engineer to develop perception and autonomous navigation systems for next-generation undersea vehicles. You'll own end-to-end technical delivery of safety-critical systems including sensor fusion, motion planning, and collision avoidance while collaborating across hardware and systems teams.

What you'll do

  • Design and implement safe navigation, collision avoidance, and situational awareness algorithms for autonomous underwater vehicles
  • Develop scalable subsystems for sensor processing, perception, tracking, motion planning, and health management
  • Apply computer vision, sensor fusion, and machine learning techniques to enhance vehicle capabilities
  • Test and validate perception and planning algorithms through simulation and real-world experimental data analysis
  • Act as technical owner for assigned systems, managing requirements, roadmap, design, and team coordination
  • Mentor junior engineers and collaborate with cross-functional teams on system integration
