About this role

Anduril Industries seeks a Software Engineer to build AR experiences for military command and control systems. You'll own features end-to-end, integrate with edge devices, and drive architectural decisions in a fast-paced defense tech environment.

What you'll do

  • Design and ship end-to-end AR features collaborating across Product, Business Development, and engineering teams
  • Write production code that enhances capabilities on edge-deployed devices
  • Integrate Unity applications with external hardware systems including drones, sensors, and wearables
  • Make architectural decisions that scale as the product and team grow
  • Establish code quality standards, testing practices, and tooling for the engineering team
  • Own software integration across the full development lifecycle from concept through fielding

  • Unity and C# development with shipped professional projects
  • Multiple programming languages (C#, Kotlin, Java, Python)
  • Data structures, algorithms, and software design patterns
  • Hardware integration and edge device software
  • Real-time data streaming and system communication protocols (gRPC, Protobuf, MQTT, WebSockets, ROS)
  • Cross-platform and cross-service API/SDK design and consumption
  • CI/CD, version control, and automated testing frameworks
  • Android development below the application layer
