Anduril Industries
Software Engineer, C++
About this role
Anduril Industries seeks a C++ Software Engineer to design and implement advanced tracking algorithms and real-time systems for air and missile defense radar applications. You'll develop high-performance software that processes sensor data to detect and track multiple airborne threats simultaneously, working closely with radar engineers to integrate solutions into mission-critical defense systems.
What you'll do
- Design and implement multi-target tracking and track fusion algorithms for air and missile defense
- Develop high-performance, real-time C++ software systems for processing radar sensor data at millisecond scales
- Build modeling and simulation environments to validate tracking performance and system capabilities
- Optimize tracking software for performance-critical environments with strict latency requirements
- Collaborate with radar engineers and system architects to integrate tracking solutions into end-to-end systems
- Communicate technical concepts and trade-offs to cross-functional teams, leadership, and customers
What they're looking for
- C++ programming
- Python programming
- Linear algebra and probability theory
- Signal processing and sensor fusion
- Real-time systems design
- Software engineering fundamentals (design patterns, testing, version control)
- Multi-target tracking algorithms
- Modeling and simulation
