About this role
Anduril is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to design and maintain a core Nix package set that enables software distribution across the organization for development, hosted services, and embedded devices. You'll establish Nix standards, create internal tooling, and mentor engineers on large-scale Nix usage while working on defense technology systems.
What you'll do
- Maintain and improve internal Nix package set for company-wide software distribution
- Package open-source and proprietary software components using Nix
- Define Nix usage standards and create tooling to enhance developer experience
- Design and execute architectural improvements to the packaging infrastructure
- Provide training, mentorship, and technical support to engineering teams
- Integrate Nix workflows with existing developer tools and processes
