Systems Engineer
About this role
Anduril seeks a Systems Engineer to lead technical strategy and cross-functional coordination for autonomous drone and rocket motor programs in the Tactical Recon & Strike division. You'll drive systems architecture, safety-critical requirements, hazard analysis, and integration testing across complex defense products like Altius, Anvil, Bolt, and Ghost.
What you'll do
- Drive systems thinking and architectural design for safety, reliability, and modularity across Anduril products
- Partner with product leads and functional teams to scope capabilities, define requirements, and achieve milestones
- Execute System Hazard Analyses (SHAs) and Failure Modes & Effects Analyses (FMEAs) to ensure safety and reliability
- Coordinate and manage test events from software simulations to flight tests across multiple integration levels
- Apply defense and industry standards (MIL-STD-882, STANAG, etc.) to engineering processes and requirements
- Identify and resolve cross-team dependencies and technical inefficiencies across multiple programs
