About this role

Anduril seeks a Technical Security Application Engineer to design, commission, and maintain Intrusion Detection and Access Control Systems for secured facilities. This hands-on individual contributor role requires deep expertise in ICD-705 compliance, government security standards, and lifecycle management of physical security infrastructure protecting defense technology assets.

What you'll do

  • Lead technical design of IDS and ACS for new secured space projects per ICD-705/IC Tech Spec v1.5.1 requirements
  • Conduct site surveys, risk assessments, and produce sensor coverage drawings and submittal packages for AO review
  • Author and maintain technical standards, drawing details, and bills of material for security installations
  • Specify and lifecycle-manage approved hardware platforms including Lenel OnGuard, Genetec, DMP, and Bosch systems
  • Coordinate with Accrediting Officials, CSSOs, and security teams during commissioning and re-accreditation reviews
  • Investigate false alarms, establish preventive maintenance programs, and develop security system SOPs
