About this role

Anthelion Capital seeks a Quant Developer to build and maintain the end-to-end quantitative engineering platform that supports researchers and portfolio managers. You'll own critical infrastructure including the data layer, backtesting engine, model deployment pipeline, and monitoring systems that power investment decisions across the firm.

What you'll do

  • Design and maintain the shared data layer for market and reference data ingestion with point-in-time correctness
  • Build and own the backtesting and simulation engine used by researchers and PMs
  • Develop portfolio-construction and optimization libraries for allocation decisions
  • Create model deployment pipelines that promote models from research to production via configuration
  • Implement monitoring and observability systems for live models and data pipelines
  • Provide portfolio-manager support including strategy diagnostics, scenario analysis, and risk-factor modeling

  • Python programming
  • Systems language (C++, Rust, Go, or similar)
  • Data engineering and pipeline design
  • Quantitative finance concepts (Sharpe ratio, risk factors, portfolio optimization)
  • Dagster or Prefect (workflow orchestration)
  • Point-in-time data correctness and temporal logic
  • Cloud platforms (Azure preferred)
  • Software architecture and platform design
