IT Support Engineer, Application Administrator
About this role
Anthropic is seeking an IT Support Engineer to own SaaS application administration and operations, managing a portfolio of enterprise apps, license lifecycle, vendor renewals, and audit compliance. You'll handle day-to-day admin tasks across tools like Gong, 1Password, and MongoDB while identifying automation opportunities and partnering with IT Engineering on platform-level issues.
What you'll do
- Perform admin-level operations inside SaaS applications: user management, role grants, settings configuration, and troubleshooting across Gong, 1Password, MongoDB, Vanta, and similar tools
- Own intake and execution of escalated support tickets in the SaaS lane; create and maintain runbooks for recurring issues
- Identify repetitive workflows and build automations using scripts, app-native features, and AI tools; coordinate platform-level automation needs with IT Engineering
- Manage license assignment, reclamation, and seat utilization reporting; conduct monthly utilization reviews and prepare renewal true-ups
- Monitor application health and performance; coordinate vendor-driven updates and communicate user-facing impacts
- Support audit and compliance operations including SOC2 evidence collection, access reviews, and audit response coordination
