Antimetal
Platform Engineer
About this role
Own the foundational infrastructure powering Antimetal's product velocity, including development platforms, service infrastructure, data systems, and agent-to-customer connectivity. You'll architect core systems that every team depends on—from CI/CD and observability to MCP gateways and integration platforms—with direct impact on engineering productivity and customer onboarding speed.
What you'll do
- Design and optimize development infrastructure including CI/CD, deploy pipelines, and internal admin tooling (Anvil) to maximize engineering velocity
- Build and maintain service architecture on Kubernetes with deployment pipelines, observability (OTEL, Datadog), and shared libraries for production reliability
- Own data infrastructure including schema, storage, and access patterns for investigation traces, agent trajectories, and customer telemetry with focus on data integrity
- Architect and operate the MCP gateway, OAuth/credential management, and self-hosted server lifecycle for agent tool connectivity
- Set production-readiness standards and platform abstractions that let product teams ship reliable services without managing underlying infrastructure
- Partner with product, FDE, and research teams to drive architectural decisions based on customer feedback and operational data
What they're looking for
- TypeScript
- Kubernetes and container orchestration
- Service-oriented architectures and distributed systems design
- Networking and systems fundamentals
- Observability and monitoring (OTEL, Datadog)
- Data modeling and schema design
- CI/CD and deployment pipeline architecture
- MCP, OAuth, or API gateway experience
