About this role

Apex is seeking a Spacecraft Systems Integration & Test Responsible Engineer to lead the integration, verification, and flight readiness of satellite bus platforms in Los Angeles. As the single-threaded owner of system-level integration and testing, you'll ensure spacecraft meet requirements and perform reliably in orbit while collaborating across manufacturing, quality, and subsystem teams.

What you'll do

  • Plan, coordinate, and execute system-level integration of spacecraft subsystems
  • Oversee functional, performance, and environmental testing (vibration, thermal-vacuum)
  • Develop, review, and approve system-level test procedures and analyze test data
  • Lead anomaly investigation, root cause analysis, and resolution
  • Own verification and validation of platform requirements and maintain compliance documentation
  • Support qualification reviews, launch site activities, and on-orbit commissioning
