About this role

Apex Companies seeks an experienced Civil Engineer to lead land development projects across private and municipal sectors in the Greensburg/Somerset, PA area. You'll design site layouts, manage stormwater systems, handle permitting, and coordinate with multidisciplinary teams in a hybrid role emphasizing mentorship and career growth.

What you'll do

  • Perform civil engineering design for land development including site layout, grading, stormwater management, and utility design
  • Support feasibility studies, due diligence, and zoning/code compliance reviews
  • Prepare design plans, technical specifications, cost estimates, and engineering reports
  • Manage permitting and agency coordination with local, state, and federal authorities
  • Oversee project progress, deliverables, schedules, budgets, and quality standards
  • Provide construction support including submittal reviews, RFI responses, and site inspections
