About this role

Apex seeks a Transportation Project Engineer to design and deliver roadway, drainage, and municipal infrastructure projects for FDOT and local government clients across Florida. You'll advance projects from concept through construction while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and developing practical transportation solutions.

What you'll do

  • Prepare roadway, drainage, and transportation design plans and technical documentation
  • Develop engineering calculations, quantity takeoffs, and cost estimates
  • Coordinate with utilities, permitting agencies, and project stakeholders
  • Conduct field reviews, constructability assessments, and quality control activities
  • Support proposal development and client engagement efforts
  • Assist project managers and designers throughout project delivery lifecycle
