About this role
Appian seeks an AI Prompt Engineer to lead internal AI transformation by designing production-grade AI solutions using platforms like Gemini and Kiro. You'll work cross-functionally to automate business tasks, establish evaluation frameworks, and maintain a self-service prompt repository for employees.
What you'll do
- Design and deploy production-quality prompts, Gemini Gems, and AI workflows for internal company use
- Convert manual business processes into AI-assisted solutions with non-technical users in mind
- Build evaluation frameworks to measure reliability and compare AI model performance
- Manage versioned repository of internal prompts with documentation and discoverability
- Serve as expert on Google Gemini, Amazon Kiro, and emerging AI technologies
- Partner with IT and security teams to red-team tools and ensure data compliance

- 3-5+ years experience with LLMs and shipping AI agents in production
- Deep expertise with Google Gemini ecosystem and Amazon Kiro
- Prompt engineering and AI workflow automation
