About this role
Scout Motors is seeking a Specialist to manage hardware and software variant complexity across their electric and hybrid vehicle programs. You'll oversee part configurations, buildable vehicle combinations, OTA software variants, and ensure cross-functional alignment on variant strategy while tracking key complexity metrics.

- Manage and maintain hardware and software variant landscape across Scout vehicle programs
- Define and govern buildable vehicle combinations, ensuring feasibility across configurations and lifecycle stages
- Define, track, and report complexity KPIs including variant counts, cost impact, and manufacturing feasibility
- Ensure data consistency of variants across PLM, ERP, software configuration management, and OTA platforms
- Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, product, purchasing, manufacturing, IT, and finance on variant strategy
- Support software tool development for assessing and reporting variant complexity
