About this role
Rockstar Games seeks a Cloud Platform Engineer to establish enterprise cloud governance and enable secure, scalable adoption of cloud technologies across the organization. Based in Manhattan, this full-time role bridges IT operations with development teams to evaluate platforms, lead POCs, and enforce security and cost controls.
What you'll do
- Evaluate enterprise cloud platforms for security, scalability, cost, and organizational fit
- Maintain a catalogue of approved cloud services and document usage patterns
- Support development teams in designing and implementing cloud-enabled workflows
- Coordinate with Security, Operations, Infrastructure, and Legal on platform architecture decisions
- Define and enforce guardrails for data handling, access control, logging, and auditing
- Design cost controls including quotas, usage limits, and reporting mechanisms
