About this role

Trace3 seeks a Performance Assessment Engineer to analyze and optimize system performance for a defense program in Huntsville, AL. You'll develop analysis tools, detect performance regressions, and partner with cross-functional teams to translate technical findings into actionable improvements.

What you'll do

• Develop software tools for performance data post-processing, analysis, and visualization
• Monitor program updates and analyze results to identify regressions from code changes
• Perform in-depth performance analysis using Technical Performance Metrics (TPMs) and Special Interest Items (SIIs)
• Evaluate system performance across timing, track quality, discrimination accuracy, and related metrics using large datasets
• Conduct deep-dive investigations with cross-functional teams and present findings to stakeholders
• Act as technical liaison between analysts and developers, converting analysis into development tasks
