StubHub seeks a Software Engineer I to join the Core Platform - Streaming & Storage team, building foundational infrastructure like message queues, distributed caches, and storage systems that power the platform. This role offers early-career engineers the opportunity to develop distributed systems expertise while contributing to high-impact services used across the company.

What you'll do

• Design, develop, test, and deploy improvements to streaming, messaging, and storage platform services
• Maintain and operate shared foundational infrastructure including message queues, key-value databases, and caches
• Collaborate with team members to ensure code quality and best practices across the codebase
• Support engineering teams adopting modern streaming and storage patterns
• Manage individual project priorities, deadlines, and technical deliverables
• Contribute to reliability and performance improvements of platform services
