Field Deployment Engineer

About this role

Applied Intuition seeks a Field Deployment Engineer to lead end-to-end installation and integration of autonomous vehicle technology at customer sites, primarily in industrial and mining environments. You'll own technical deployments, drive operational readiness, and serve as the primary on-site engineering expert while working closely with customer teams and internal engineering leadership.

What you'll do

• Lead full-lifecycle field deployments of Applied's products at customer sites, from initial setup through operational readiness
• Partner with customer operations teams to establish procedures, training programs, and safety protocols
• Serve as on-site technical escalation point for troubleshooting, issue diagnosis, and coordination with engineering teams
• Monitor deployment health metrics and drive continuous improvements with customers and internal teams
• Translate safety requirements into site procedures, training, and go/no-go operational criteria
• Support hardware installations including wiring, sensors, ECUs, and vehicle system interfaces
