About this role
Applied Intuition seeks a Software Engineer for Mission Control, a defense-focused UI platform enabling warfighters and test engineers to plan, monitor, and debrief autonomous systems. You'll design and build a configurable, data-oriented frontend with 2D/3D rendering capabilities, working in fast-paced startup-like iterations alongside design and autonomy teams.
What you'll do
- Design and implement data-oriented frontend UI/UX platform for defense applications
- Build 2D/3D geographic map rendering and selection tools for mission planning and command-and-control
- Collaborate with Design team to understand user workflows and develop intuitive interfaces
- Integrate frontend implementation with simulator, data pipelines, and autonomous systems
- Establish principled architecture with clear responsibilities and strong test fixtures
- Support multi-agent workflows for mission planning, monitoring, and debrief operations
