About this role

Applied Intuition seeks a new mechanical engineering graduate to support the design and validation of autonomous vehicles, focusing on sensor integration, hardware reliability, and structural analysis. You'll work hands-on across the complete product lifecycle, from component design to full-vehicle testing in a collaborative engineering environment.

What you'll do

  • Support mechanical design of external sensor suites, compute assemblies, and vehicle interiors for autonomous vehicles
  • Perform structural and thermal analysis on mechanical designs using CAE tools
  • Design, fabricate, and assemble custom test fixtures in collaboration with engineering teams
  • Conduct incoming quality control inspections, pressure testing, and firmware flashing on hardware
  • Execute test scripts and validate systems at component, assembly, and integrated vehicle levels
  • Produce technical documentation for testing, maintenance, safety, and team processes

What they're looking for

  • CAD design and 3D modeling (SolidWorks preferred)
