About this role
Applied Intuition seeks a Research Engineer to develop cutting-edge robotic hardware, simulation environments, and data processing solutions for autonomous systems and robotics. You'll support hardware setup, build large-scale simulations for reinforcement learning, process human data, and collaborate on research publications and production deployments across autonomous vehicles and robotic platforms.
What you'll do
- Design and set up robotic and data collection hardware with custom mechatronic systems
- Build large-scale robotic simulation environments for reinforcement learning training
- Process and prepare human data for robotic applications
- Collaborate with research scientists on publications for top-tier conferences
- Work with engineering teams to deploy end-to-end algorithms for production vehicles
- Develop neural simulation and generation tools supporting autonomy development
