Software Engineer - Middleware

About this role

Applied Intuition seeks a Software Engineer to develop core middleware components for their software-defined vehicle platform. You'll build high-performance C++ solutions for distributed systems, communication protocols, and functional safety within the AUTOSAR Adaptive Platform framework.

What you'll do

• Design and implement core platform services using C++ with focus on multi-threading and performance optimization
• Develop communication middleware using SOME/IP, DDS, Protobuf, or gRPC protocols
• Work within AUTOSAR Adaptive Platform functional clusters including Communication and Execution Management
• Apply networking expertise to the Ethernet stack for reliable vehicle data exchange
• Contribute to system management functions like Health Management and Diagnostics
• Take ownership of technical decisions in a fast-paced environment

• C++ (advanced, including multi-threading and concurrency)
• Communication middleware (SOME/IP or DDS)
• Networking and Ethernet stack knowledge
• AUTOSAR Adaptive Platform experience
• Multi-threading and design patterns
• Protobuf/gRPC (preferred)
• POSIX/Linux systems
• Embedded systems or automotive software
