About this role
Applied Intuition seeks a detail-oriented new graduate to join its Validation team as a UX Test Engineer, responsible for ensuring exceptional user experience across software applications serving the automotive, defense, and robotics industries. You'll develop test plans, build automated UI test suites, collaborate with designers and product managers, and manage defects throughout their lifecycle while receiving mentorship from senior engineers.
What you'll do
- Design and implement comprehensive validation scripts focused on user journeys, edge cases, and visual consistency
- Develop and maintain automated UI test suites using tools like Selenium or Appium
- Partner with UX Designers and Product Managers to refine requirements and provide feedback on prototypes
- Identify, reproduce, and track UI/UX defects through their lifecycle using Jira or similar systems
- Execute rigorous testing strategies to validate usability, accessibility, and interface performance
- Bridge design and engineering to ensure quality user experiences
