Join Astranis as a Network Planning Sales Engineer Associate for a 12-week salaried role supporting satellite communications network design. You'll optimize high-throughput satellite networks by managing complex technical parameters and engaging directly with customers on pre- and post-sales architecture planning.
What you'll do
- Conduct pre- and post-sales network architecture and planning for satellite systems
- Optimize satellite networks by evaluating digital payload configurations, orbital slots, and frequency planning
- Analyze antenna systems, coverage areas, gateway locations, and user terminal requirements
- Select and configure networking and modem equipment based on customer needs
- Develop detailed trade studies balancing multiple technical variables and constraints
- Support customer-facing activities including presentations and technical Q&A
