Federal AI Solutions Engineer
About this role
A-TEK seeks an early-career AI Solutions Engineer to design, develop, and deploy AI and cloud solutions for federal clients using AWS and Azure. The role combines AI/ML development with cloud engineering, offering recent graduates the opportunity to work on mission-focused projects under senior mentorship.
What you'll do
- Design, develop, and deploy AI-powered applications using AWS Bedrock, Azure OpenAI, and frameworks like LangChain and LlamaIndex
- Build and maintain cloud environments in AWS and Azure, including infrastructure-as-code deployment with Terraform and CDK
- Develop prompt engineering strategies, RAG workflows, and AI agent capabilities with testing and integration support
- Support containerized deployments using ECS, EKS, or AKS and participate in CI/CD implementation
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on rapid prototyping, technical documentation, and architecture design
- Ensure solutions comply with NIST AI RMF, FedRAMP, Zero Trust, and secure coding practices
