Site Reliability Engineer II
About this role
Axon is hiring a Site Reliability Engineer II to join their APX CloudOps team in Seattle or Boston on a hybrid schedule. You'll primarily write code in Go and Temporal to build the Zero Touch Platform, an internal automation system that replaces manual operational work with reliable automation, while also participating in on-call rotations and incident response.
What you'll do
- Develop Temporal workflows and Go services to automate cloud operations at scale
- Write performant, maintainable code and participate in code reviews and design reviews
- Build foundational platforms and tools for rapid, secure, and cost-effective service provisioning
- Participate in on-call rotations and lead incident response efforts
- Debug and resolve issues in cloud-native distributed systems
- Educate the engineering organization on new architectural patterns and provide documentation
