About this role

Bandwidth seeks a Network Engineer to support and optimize enterprise network infrastructure by combining traditional networking with modern cloud and SaaS solutions. You'll troubleshoot complex hybrid environments, automate network operations, and collaborate with vendors on critical infrastructure while mentoring junior team members.

What you'll do

  • Analyze and resolve LAN/WAN, routing, and switching performance issues
  • Create automated network monitoring and configuration solutions using Python, Bash, REST, and NETCONF
  • Deploy and manage SaaS applications including Cisco DNA, ISE, and Firepower Management Center
  • Troubleshoot hybrid cloud environments integrating AWS, Azure, and on-premises infrastructure
  • Evaluate and implement wireless network improvements and SDN tools
  • Coordinate with vendors on critical infrastructure maintenance (UPS, HVAC, generators) and document configurations
