Junior Solutions Engineer

About this role

Hancock Software seeks a Junior Solutions Engineer to support the implementation and deployment of cloud-based energy efficiency software platforms. You'll guide clients through onboarding, troubleshoot technical issues, and collaborate across teams to ensure successful project delivery for utilities and government agencies nationwide.

What you'll do

• Serve as primary technical resource during client onboarding and go-live phases
• Diagnose and resolve technical issues alongside support and customer success teams
• Document customer business requirements and translate them into technical specifications
• Create user documentation, training materials, and operating procedures
• Coordinate project tasks including scripting, data imports, configuration, and testing
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships while gathering requirements and validating solutions

What they're looking for

• HTML/JavaScript and web development (2–5 years)
• Cloud-hosted and client-installed application support
• Project management and task coordination
• Technical documentation and communication
• MS SQL, Postman, or RESTful API development (preferred)
• Database structures and data migration knowledge (preferred)
• Azure DevOps or similar ticket management systems (preferred)
• Energy efficiency program knowledge (preferred)
