About this role
Base seeks a Quality Engineer to establish and oversee manufacturing quality systems for distributed battery production in Austin. You'll develop quality control plans, implement ISO 9001 compliance, and collaborate with engineering teams to ensure safety and reliability across factory operations.
What you'll do
- Create and deploy manufacturing quality control plans across production facilities
- Build design and process FMEAs with engineering teams to identify and mitigate risks
- Develop and maintain quality management system documentation aligned with ISO 9001
- Analyze quality data to detect trends and drive process improvements
- Lead corrective and preventive action workflows to resolve non-conformances
- Conduct compliance audits and monitor quality performance metrics

- Statistical process control (SPC) and measurement systems analysis (MSA)
