About this role
Basic Capital seeks a Forward Deployed Engineer to embed with external partners like TPAs and payroll processors, rapidly identifying their operational challenges and building full-stack solutions using software and AI. You'll work directly with technical and executive stakeholders to deliver end-to-end products that modernize retirement infrastructure.
What you'll do
- Embed with external parties (TPAs, record-keepers, HR/payroll processors) to understand operational pain points
- Design and build full-stack products leveraging software and AI to solve identified problems
- Engage directly with stakeholders across technical and executive levels
- Rapidly prototype and iterate solutions based on customer feedback
- Contribute across the tech stack as business needs evolve
- Bridge technical and business requirements to deliver pragmatic solutions
