About this role

Bellese seeks a Full Stack Engineer II to maintain and modernize critical healthcare reporting systems for CMS, supporting thousands of hospitals in submitting quality measure data. You'll work across backend APIs, databases, and frontend interfaces using test-driven development to reduce provider burden and improve patient care outcomes.

What you'll do

  • Design and deliver medium-to-large backend features and APIs using test-driven development practices
  • Build and optimize data models, interactions, and database operations for performance, scalability, and security
  • Develop user interfaces aligned with UX designs that address real healthcare provider needs
  • Contribute to automated testing suites covering functional and non-functional requirements
  • Mentor and support team members while maintaining consistent delivery of features to production
  • Reduce technical debt across one or more projects while modernizing legacy systems
