About this role

BJAK is hiring an Android Developer to build native Kotlin experiences for their AI-powered neobank app serving Southeast Asia. You'll own feature development across insurance, payments, and financial services, focusing on clean user flows, performance optimization, and shipping reliable products to millions of users.

What you'll do

  • Build and ship Android features using Kotlin and Jetpack Compose
  • Design clean mobile flows for insurance, payments, claims, and financial services
  • Integrate backend REST APIs and ensure stable, secure mobile integrations
  • Optimize app performance, crash rates, loading states, and memory usage
  • Collaborate with product and design to simplify complex user journeys
  • Use analytics and production data to drive product improvements
