About this role
Block seeks an Oracle Fusion Techno-Functional Developer to architect and scale the financial technology stack powering accounting, tax, treasury, procurement, and FP&A operations. This role combines deep Oracle Fusion expertise with an AI-first development mindset, requiring hands-on technical execution and strategic partnership with business and engineering teams.
What you'll do
- Design and maintain scalable financial data models and solution architectures across Oracle FAH, GL, SLA, and BIP modules
- Build intelligent integrations between accounting systems, data lakes, and internal applications using SQL, PL/SQL, REST, and SOAP
- Embed AI-assisted development tools into workflows to accelerate code generation, testing, and delivery velocity
- Identify system inefficiencies and deploy automation to scale financial workflows and reduce manual operational overhead
- Translate accounting principles and complex business requirements into concrete technical designs and documentation
- Partner with business leaders, product managers, and data engineers to drive transformation across the finance technology stack
