About this role

Bot Auto seeks a Junior E/E Architecture & Electrical Systems Engineer to design and validate electrical/electronic architectures for autonomous trucks. You'll work on in-vehicle networks, ECU integration, wiring harness design, and system safety analysis under senior guidance.

What you'll do

  • Support E/E architecture lifecycle from concept through production release, including logical and physical design of centralized computers, controllers, and edge ECUs
  • Define and maintain ECU pinouts, harness schematics, connectors, wire gauges, grounding, and shielding requirements
  • Create architecture artifacts: block diagrams, functional allocations, interface control documents, network matrices, and connector definitions
  • Participate in FMEA/DFMEA and fault-tree analyses to identify failure modes and design mitigations
  • Support network and electrical integration testing including bandwidth, latency, bus load, power modes, and vehicle operation validation
  • Collaborate with autonomy, software, safety, and manufacturing teams to implement architecture decisions and resolve cross-domain issues

  • CAN/CAN-FD protocol knowledge with Automotive Ethernet familiarity
  • E/E architecture tools and configuration management (DBC, ARXML, LDF files)

  • FMEA/DFMEA and fault-tree analysis
  • Network and electrical integration testing
  • Schematics, connector design, and design-for-manufacturing principles
  • Cross-functional collaboration with hardware, software, and safety teams
