About this role

Bounteous seeks an experienced SQL Developer and Database Administrator with 6+ years managing production SQL Server environments across Azure and AWS platforms. You'll optimize database performance, administer cloud databases, support application development teams, and ensure system reliability in a fast-paced digital transformation consultancy.

What you'll do

  • Manage and administer production SQL Server, Azure SQL Database, and Azure SQL Managed Instance environments
  • Optimize SQL queries and database performance through advanced T-SQL development and tuning
  • Collaborate with solution architects and Entity Framework development teams on database design and implementation
  • Implement high availability, disaster recovery, and backup strategies for mission-critical databases
  • Monitor database health, troubleshoot performance issues, and implement automation solutions
  • Support AWS MySQL environments and ensure cross-platform database consistency
