About this role
Blueprint seeks an Android Test Automation Engineer to develop and maintain automated testing solutions for next-generation Android devices, ensuring quality and reliability throughout the development lifecycle. You'll work with software engineers and quality teams to build automation for provisioning, configuring, and validating software on physical prototype devices.
What you'll do
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test suites for Android applications and platform components
- Create automation to provision, configure, deploy, and validate software on physical Android prototype devices
- Manage a physical Android device lab including device provisioning, updates, connectivity, and inventory
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and collaboration frameworks with engineering teams
- Investigate test failures, identify root causes, and improve test reliability and stability
- Analyze software changes to identify testing gaps and prioritize regression coverage for high-risk features
