About this role
Voyager Technologies seeks a senior Systems Engineer V to lead the design, integration, and validation of complex defense systems. This role combines deep technical expertise in systems engineering with mentorship responsibilities, requiring mastery of MDA processes, MBSE methodologies, and cross-functional program leadership.
What you'll do
- Define, maintain, and ensure traceability of system and subsystem requirements while enforcing MDA compliance standards
- Lead development and execution of system architecture, verification plans, and validation strategies across all program tiers
- Coordinate with propulsion, software, hardware, GNC, and test teams to achieve system-level performance and verification closure
- Manage system-level risk identification, mitigation strategies, and integration into overall program risk management
- Provide MBSE leadership by guiding SysML modeling standards, requirements database integration, and digital engineering toolchain alignment
- Mentor junior and mid-level systems engineers while fostering knowledge transfer and process maturity
