About this role

Blueprint seeks an Embedded Software Engineer to design and build automated firmware security analysis platforms using compiler technologies, fuzzing frameworks, and AI-assisted workflows. You'll develop scalable tools that convert firmware into analyzable representations, discover vulnerabilities, and harden security pipelines for production use.

What you'll do

  • Design and maintain automated firmware security analysis pipelines for vulnerability detection
  • Build low-level tooling in C++, Python, and LLVM to analyze firmware at scale
  • Develop compiler passes and transformations to convert firmware into LLVM Intermediate Representation (IR)
  • Create and improve fuzzing harnesses to maximize code coverage and uncover vulnerabilities
  • Investigate crashes and perform root-cause analysis on fuzzing campaign results
  • Enhance vulnerability detection accuracy by reducing false positives in automated workflows
