BrightAI Corporation
Computer Vision Engineer
About this role
A 6–12 month temporary role for recent graduates to build end-to-end computer vision expertise, from dataset annotation and QA through 3D reconstruction and model training. You'll work alongside experienced CV engineers on production perception systems, gaining hands-on experience with YOLO, PyTorch, and modern workflows while creating portfolio-worthy projects.
What you'll do
- Annotate and quality-check images and video for detection, segmentation, and classification tasks
- Develop Python tooling to manage annotation formats, validate label integrity, and compute dataset statistics
- Work on 3D reconstruction projects using photogrammetry and Gaussian splatting for AR/VR and autonomy applications
- Design and refine labeling schemas and class taxonomies based on real-world edge cases
- Run YOLO baseline training experiments to assess dataset quality and identify labeling gaps
- Document labeling conventions and edge-case decisions for team reference
What they're looking for
- Python programming
- OpenCV and NumPy
- YOLO (nice to have)
- PyTorch (nice to have)
- 3D reconstruction techniques
- Image annotation and QA
- Data validation and pipeline work
- Attention to detail
Benefits
- Mentorship from production computer vision engineers
- Exposure to the full CV pipeline from raw data to deployed models
- Hands-on experience with industry-standard tools and modern perception workflows
- Portfolio-building work including datasets, scripts, and model contributions
- Experience with emerging areas like AR/VR, SLAM, and autonomous systems
