About this role
Brooks seeks a Materials Developer to drive seasonal apparel material innovation by collaborating across product teams from concept through commercialization. You'll leverage expertise in material construction, properties, and manufacturing to develop high-performance products that meet consumer and business needs.
What you'll do
- Develop and evaluate materials and trims across engineered wraps, wefts, and wovens for seasonal collections
- Conduct raw material testing, analysis, and costing to inform design decisions
- Partner with cross-functional teams to identify and pursue material innovation opportunities
- Anticipate manufacturing challenges and implement timely problem-solving solutions
- Communicate material improvements and performance benefits to product stakeholders
- Ensure alignment between material specifications and manufacturing capabilities
