About this role

CADRE seeks a DevSecOps Engineer to design and deploy Salesforce and AWS environments, managing infrastructure provisioning, CI/CD pipeline integration, and compliance with VA security standards. The role combines hands-on AWS infrastructure work with cross-functional collaboration to build scalable, secure cloud solutions.

What you'll do

  • Provision and configure AWS accounts, instances, VPCs, and network connectivity aligned with VA governance
  • Lead requirements elicitation with product, QA, release management, and infrastructure teams to define environment needs
  • Design and recommend AWS account structures, sandbox configurations, and PostgreSQL RDS backends for production and pre-production environments
  • Integrate environments into CI/CD pipelines (GitHub, Jenkins) and support automated testing execution
  • Apply infrastructure automation tools (Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible) and DevSecOps principles throughout design and configuration
  • Define test data requirements, refresh cadences, and coordinate sandbox provisioning with DTC
