About this role

CADRE seeks a Senior Systems Engineer with 6+ years of experience to design and maintain complex system architectures for federal IT modernization initiatives. You'll provide technical leadership across distributed systems and cloud platforms while collaborating with cross-functional teams in regulated environments.

  • Design, develop, and maintain system architectures across applications, infrastructure, and platforms
  • Provide technical leadership and guidance to engineering teams
  • Analyze requirements and translate them into scalable, secure solutions
  • Monitor and optimize system performance, reliability, and availability
  • Collaborate with developers, DevOps, security teams, and stakeholders on system alignment
  • Develop technical documentation, architecture diagrams, and system specifications
