CSA Project Engineer
About this role
Commonwealth Fusion Systems seeks a CSA Project Engineer to oversee civil, structural, and architectural design and construction activities for fusion power plant facilities. You'll bridge engineering and field construction teams, manage work packages, coordinate 3D models, ensure compliance with specifications, and support system turnover from design through commissioning.
What you'll do
- Collaborate with engineering teams on CSA constructability and design issues for process systems
- Plan, sequence, assemble, and issue Construction Work Packages to support field activities
- Lead cross-functional 3D model reviews to identify and resolve constructability and interface issues
- Review and approve external CSA engineering documentation and interface with outside firms
- Coordinate with construction contractors, procurement, and field supervision on schedules, materials, and compliance
- Develop turnover packages, manage system walkdowns, and support quality inspection and punch list tracking
