About this role
Chicago Trading Company seeks a Trade Support Engineer to maintain uptime and resolve critical issues in live trading systems. You'll troubleshoot production incidents, automate operational workflows, and collaborate with traders and developers in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
What you'll do
- Troubleshoot and resolve live trading system outages while communicating status to stakeholders
- Monitor production environments for anomalies and escalate issues appropriately
- Automate manual processes using Linux, Python, and Bash scripting
- Partner with traders and developers to diagnose system and software problems
- Create and maintain documentation, runbooks, and incident retrospectives
- Lead incident response and drive continuous improvement of support operations
