About this role
Support the operations and maintenance of utility-scale solar and battery energy storage systems by troubleshooting equipment issues, optimizing performance, and driving reliability improvements across Clearway's operating fleet. This hybrid role in Scottsdale combines technical engineering expertise with field collaboration to ensure safe, efficient facility operations.
What you'll do
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for solar PV and BESS operating assets
- Develop and implement solutions to maximize equipment reliability and performance
- Evaluate BESS capacity testing and support warranty/insurance claims
- Contribute to engineering specifications, operational procedures, and site personnel training
- Support new project construction and acquisitions to ensure operational readiness
- Assess equipment obsolescence and identify repowering or augmentation opportunities
