About this role

Join an early-stage data infrastructure startup as a founding Forward Deployed Engineer, bridging customer needs and product development. You'll own complex web scraping and data extraction challenges for major clients, manage scraping engineers, and shape the function from the ground up while translating customer insights into product roadmap priorities.

What you'll do

  • Partner with key customers to diagnose and resolve web scraping and data extraction challenges
  • Manage end-to-end customer request lifecycle from intake through successful delivery
  • Lead and support scraping engineers building and maintaining data pipelines
  • Translate customer feedback and frontline context into actionable product requirements and roadmap input
  • Define, document, and scale the Forward Deployed Engineer function as the company grows
  • Drive customer satisfaction and retention through hands-on technical delivery
