About this role

Join a seed-stage AI pricing platform as a founding design engineer responsible for building and maintaining the design system, component library, and frontend patterns. You'll ensure UI coherence across the product as the team scales with AI coding agents, working at the intersection of design systems and frontend engineering.

What you'll do

  • Own the design system including design tokens, shadcn/ui component library, and Tailwind conventions across the product suite
  • Define and enforce frontend patterns using React Query, React Hook Form, and Zod to ensure AI-generated code meets standards
  • Ensure WCAG accessibility compliance and integrate brand guidelines into the codebase
  • Audit and maintain frontend tooling including Biome, Playwright E2E tests, and performance optimization
  • Translate design intent into component abstractions and lint rules to preserve UI coherence
  • Integrate AI coding tools into frontend workflows and serve as the quality bar-raiser for frontend UX
