About this role
Join a pre-seed startup as the first engineering hire to transform a revenue-generating AI product into scalable, production-grade infrastructure. You'll work directly with the founder to build agentic systems capable of serving millions of users, with a clear path to CTO as the team grows.
What you'll do
- Rebuild the existing product into scalable agentic infrastructure handling real production load
- Design and own the agent runtime including orchestration, memory, verification, and auditability systems
- Lead full-stack development across backend, infrastructure, frontend, and agent systems
- Establish technical architecture, engineering standards, and development practices from day one
- Ship features to production customers on a weekly cadence
- Own technical decisions and drive product direction alongside the founder
