About this role

Exowatt seeks an Electrical Engineer to design and develop electrical systems for our innovative thermal battery platform that captures and stores solar energy. You'll work on power conversion, controls, and grid interconnection technologies while collaborating across mechanical, software, and systems teams to bring cutting-edge clean energy solutions to market.

What you'll do

  • Design and develop electrical components and sub-systems for thermal battery and power dispatch applications
  • Create schematics, PCB layouts, and technical specifications under guidance of senior engineers
  • Perform electrical analysis, simulation, and validation testing on assigned designs
  • Contribute to design of power electronics, control circuits, instrumentation, and protection systems
  • Troubleshoot electrical issues during prototype builds, bench testing, and field deployments
  • Evaluate components and vendor technologies; document designs and test procedures
