About this role
Founding engineering role at a seed-stage hardtech startup building AI-assisted PCB design and EDA automation tools. You'll own core tooling and manufacturing pipeline integrations while working directly with the founding team to shape product and technical strategy.
What you'll do
- Build and ship AI-assisted PCB design tools and EDA automation features for real customers
- Integrate manufacturing pipelines and manage the full hardware-to-production workflow
- Solve full-stack problems across backend systems and user-facing tooling
- Collaborate with founding team to define product direction and technical strategy
- Ship fast, iterate on user feedback, and resolve technical blockers
- Own core platform architecture and development from the ground up
What they're looking for
- PCB design and EDA tooling (KiCad, schematic review)
- Systems or low-level programming (C, C++, Rust, Go)
- Full-stack software development
- Embedded systems and firmware development
- Hardware product shipping and manufacturing integrations
- Software architecture and systems design
- AI/ML applications to design automation (bonus)
- Hardware supply chain knowledge (bonus)
